


LEARN TO PAINT WITH WATERCOLORS
Appropriate Instruction for students 8th Grade to Adult!
Yet another fine instructional program is being added to the Library’s 2008 summer calendar of events. Award-winning Texas watercolorist, Madelyn Casper, will provide step-by-step guidance and encouragement that will inspire you to paint with confidence. Follow your creative impulse to the Round Top Family Library and explore the world of watercolor painting!

Workshop participants can bring donations and sign up at the library or call
(979) 249-2700 to provide the necessary information and mail a check to the library at the above address.The following information must be included at the time of registration:

Supplies you will need for the first class
Paints: student grade paints are suitable and a small tube of each color will
last a long time.
Our class palette will consist of only nine paints in the following hues:
Palette: any watercolor palette with a cover and enough wells for paints and a
mixing area.
Brushes: most projects can be completed with a mid-sized round brush (a #6
or larger with a nice point. Other helpful brushes would be a ” Flat and a
Rigger.
Miscellaneous: a spray bottle that can provide a fine “mist” ; a 4X6 sponge; a single-edged razor blade.
