Calling all Volunteers!
Volunteers make it possible for the Round Top Family Library to offers its services, programs and events. They are absolutely essential to the Library operations, leadership, fund-raising, building maintenance, landscape and garden maintenance and everything else we do. It’s as simple as that. Volunteers are not just helpers. They are a critical part of how we function.
Volunteering at the library is also a great way to meet new people while making a big difference in our regional community.
There are many ways you can participate. You can assist or lead programs if you have the qualifications. You can help with the building maintenance at our beautiful campus. You can help the staff or volunteer committee chairs with office and administrative work.
Join our gardening volunteers and help keep up the beautiful Grace Memorial Garden or our gardening for children programs. If you have arts skills, help with arts and theater arts programs.
If you really want a really big job, let us know you are interested in serving on our Board of Directors or Advisory Board. The Library throws several big events during the year and we always need both leaders and volunteers to plan and manage those events. If you are a mover and shaker with lots of contacts, we could use a good community liaison to do outreach for our library or join our fundraising team.
If you are good with computers, we always need help with IT, website updates and social network promotion – and help with our beginners’ computer classes. If you are retired, consider mentoring at the library or helping us build a broader set of services for Seniors.
And if none of those jobs excite you, tell us what you think we need to provide that would enrich our community and submit a proposal to our Board of Directors for a new program!
A library representative will contact you to discuss your participation.
